About Mettis

Mettis is a UK-based technology company specialising in the dynamic field of compliance.

The Mettis team started in South Africa developing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for the local market.

One such solution was iTax – a compliance platform servicing the SA Pensions and Human Resources industry. With over 60 clients and 12 million transactions processed to date, iTax continues to be a major player in the South African Pension Administration landscape.

UK Expansion

Having sold the South African business, Mettis opened its doors in the UK to extend its offering to a wider compliance market, creating cloud based, SaaS and transactional technology solutions.

Our team has a combined 40+ years’ experience in solution architecture, design, technology infrastructure, security, business analysis, and consulting.

Having worked across a diverse client base, from start-ups to large corporates, we have developed strong engagement skills, and an in-depth understanding of the complex security needs of corporate clients.

Tailored technology solutions are delivered to the highest standard. Extensive data management expertise underpins all development to deliver data-centric technology to deal with complex compliance business processes and data rules.

Metior Hub is the ultimate compliance management platform created specially to meet the everchanging needs of compliance consultants in the UK’s FCA-regulated financial services sector.

Driven by a growing industry need to replace the tedious, resource-heavy compliance processes, with a flexible, technology-driven solution – Metior Hub was birthed.

This highly flexible software solution combines the agility and lower cost of an off-the-shelf solution with the customisation of a new build.

Andrew Young

Andrew’s core interest at Mettis is to develop solutions that “make things better”, with the inevitable disruption that follows, but with a focus on the integration of technology and people. He believes that clients of technology solutions still want to talk to real people and that Mettis must be known as a business that has at its heart the building of relationships. This is perhaps why Mettis develops solutions, such as Metior Hub, that are focussed on its client DNA.
